Connect Stripe to WasteNot to sync payment, subscription, and customer data. Build audiences based on purchase behavior, subscription status, and lifetime value.

Prerequisites

Before connecting Stripe, you will need:

• A Stripe account
• An API key from your Stripe Dashboard
• Your Stripe Account ID (starts with acct_, found in Account Settings)

Connecting Stripe

1. Add a new Stripe data source in WasteNot
2. Enter a Name for the data source
3. Paste your Stripe API key in the Api Token field
4. Enter your Stripe Account Id
5. Click Save

WasteNot will begin syncing your Stripe data automatically.

What data is synced

• Customers — Customer profiles and metadata
• Charges and Payments — Transaction history and payment amounts
• Subscriptions — Active, canceled, and past-due subscription records
• Invoices — Invoice history and line items

Frequently asked questions

Should I use my live or test key?

Always use your live mode API key. Test mode data is not useful for audience building.

How do I update my API key?

Go to Data Sources, click on your Stripe data source, click Edit, and paste the new key.

My data source shows "Failed" status

This usually means the API key was revoked or is no longer valid. Create a new one in your Stripe Dashboard and update it in WasteNot.
